Overview
The Lytle Creek Hydroelectric Project Authority (JPA) was established under the provisions of California Government Code Section 6525 and is a collaborative effort between a public water district and a private mutual water company to support participation in the RES-BCT program and related energy initiatives.
Participating Entities
Cucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD)
The Cucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD) is a dynamic, growing organization whose sole purpose is to provide high-quality, safe and reliable water and wastewater services while practicing good stewardship of natural and financial resources. CVWD is one of the leading retail water providers in the region which is attributed to our innovation and leadership in addressing regional and state-wide water issues.
Fontana Union Water Company (FUWC)
Fontana Union Water Company (FUWC) is a California corporation organized in 1912 and operates as a non-profit mutual water company under the laws of the State of California. FUWC is responsible for the operation and management of the hydroelectric facilities located on Lytle Creek.
